Summary
This event is the second in the RSGB Region 13 series of 2025. There will be a five transmitter course using the 80m band.

This is the Conkers car park and participants should park near the entrance to the car park soo as not to inconvenience Conkers users who will wish to park closer to the entrance of the attraction.
Directions
From the cross roads at Moira, take Rawdon Road which leads North North Westwards. Pass under the railway bridge and after a further 700m turn left into Conkers car park.
Format of Event
The event will conform to the general principles of IARU events. There will be a maximum of five transmitters plus an MO beacon at the finish.
There will be a time limit of 2.5 hours to complete the course. Competitors who are over time will be listed in the results below those who are inside the time and have found at least one transmitter.
Map
Scale is 1:10,000. Size A4 portrait. Printed in four colours on waterproof paper.
Only the central portion of this map will be used. See information at the start regarding which parts of the map may be disregarded.
Timetable
1000 Registration opens. Information sheets issued to ALL entrants.
At this time loan receivers are issued. Tuition will be available for newcomers on the use of the ARDF receivers (beyond switching it on and turning up the gain).
1030 First starters commence the 10 minute walk to the start. Walk out of the car park onto Rawdon Road. Cross over to the pavement on the far side and go left (away from Moira) for 150 metres to Gorse Lane on the right hand side of the main road. This is the location of the start.
1045-1130 Starts at 5 minute intervals. Be at the start 5 minutes before your allocated start time, to receive your map.

Entry fee is £3.
The results will be posted on this web site as soon as possible after the event.
Procedures
Registration for the competition will be in the car park. The Start and Finish are at the end of Gorse Lane which is 300m from Registration (Directions above).
In accordance with the informality of the event the organisers will not require you to deposit your receiver in a pound before the transmitters start sending. They do expect you to respect the spirit of this concession by refraining from using your receiver until reporting to officials in the start area and then only under their supervision.
The 'flags'for the competition will be 15cm side length.
Safety
Competitors are responsible for their own safety and take part at their own risk. No smoking in the forest. Whistles should be carried (the emergency signal is 6 blasts repeated at 1 minute intervals).
Loan Equipment
Receivers for 3.5MHz are available on loan at no extra cost (unless you lose the receiver, when the cost is £60).
