In accordance with the informality of the event the organisers will not require you to deposit your receiver in a pound before the transmitters start sending. They do expect you to respect the spirit of this concession by refraining from using your receiver until reporting to officials in thstart area and then only under their supervision.

    Safety

Competitors are responsible for their own safety and take part at their own risk. The courses will cross quiet and not so quiet suburban roads, possibly also the A38 dual carriageway (there are bridges and pedestrian crossings). Competitors must be 16 years or older unless accompanied by a responsible adult.

    Loan Equipment

A limited number of receivers for both 144MHz and 3.5MHz are available on loan. Contact the organiser to reserve - please don't just turn up and hope as we have to transfer the kit specially.
